“Mission Possible was a workshop that didn’t feel like work.

It was a really fun exercise for learning how to solve the most complex of problems. We had no idea we could be so creative with such a random collection of resources, but we really believed our idea could make a difference. The game was well facilitated and gave us the confidence to design a real project that has a lasting impact.

Why should I try it?

Demystify the phrase “design thinking for social change” with our game, Mission Possible. Available online and offline, you’ll work in teams to create an imaginative solution to one of our world’s more complex problems.

We’ve identified 10 steps for effective Goodmaking and introduce them in Mission Possible and encourage players to have a go at each of these steps in a safe space.

At Goodmakers we believe a few constraints can actually inspire innovation. We believe teamwork, collaboration and evaluation are essential to good innovation. You will learn how to apply these ideas when designing a solution. You will also practice presenting ideas, and — most importantly — that innovation is a process that ANYONE can do.

Mission Possible is available as a physical game for in-person play and/or as an online workshop for teams to engage with. Both versions can be used multiple times. The game works with as few as three people and as many as 100!
